After I gave birth to my first son I thought I was going to be in my pre-pregnancy weight in no time since I was breastfeeding and I witnessed my girlfriends dropping the weight like nothing. But to my surprise that was not the case for me. As time passed and my weight was not back to "normal", my body insecurities started to flourish.
I had tons of clothes in my closet and none of my pants would fit me comfortably except for my yoga pants. I ended up borrowing clothes from my mom because I refused to go shopping for a bigger size. I avoided going out, taking pictures, I wasn't exercising because I was exhausted, and sometimes found myself eating just because I was stressed with all the things going on (work, baby, house, body etc, etc, etc).
I started by taking care of myself and my body. Treating myself with kindness, love, and respect, gradually adding more whole foods to my meals, and incorporated other healthy habits and it has been AMAZING. I have a lot of energy to keep up with my boys and exercise, I sleep better, now more than ever I feel PROUD and CONFIDENT in my body, and I am able to maintain a healthy weight after two babies without ever feeling deprived, restricted or forced to do things I don't enjoy.
Going through my journey I discovered I have a passion for helping other moms feel Confident in their bodies so that they don't miss out in life and can focus on what matters most as well as live a healthy lifestyle and set the example for their children.
I am a Certified Health Coach, wife, and loving mother of 2 wonderful boys. Motherhood is one of the greatest blessings in life and I want to help you to be present and enjoy every moment of it.
